Do you take my insurance?

When you visit our dental office in Gainesville, Virginia, for treatment, we work hard to make sure you get the most out of your insurance benefits. Because we are considered “out-of-network,” we will submit your insurance claims for you to help you receive your maximum “out-of-network” benefits.

At our GoSmiles Dentistry practice, we operate on a fee-for-service basis where patients pay for the services we provide on the day of their treatment. While we explain the cost of each procedure before treatment, we won’t know precisely how much your insurance will cover since every insurer covers services differently. We can, however, give you an estimate based on how much other insurance companies have paid for this treatment.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept a variety of payment options, including cash, check, and most major credit cards. We are pleased to offer discounts for cash payment as well as discounts for “pay today courtesy” if you have a complex treatment. Check with our team to learn more!

Do you offer in-house financing?

We are happy to provide one-on-one arrangements for a payment plan that works with your budget.

I have a gap between my front teeth. What are my options for correcting this?

If your smile has a visible gap, you have treatment choices depending on its size. Our dentists can typically recommend an orthodontics treatment known as Invisalign® clear aligners to correct large gaps. If your gap is moderate or small, it can be corrected with the help of bonding or porcelain veneers. No matter the size of the gap, our dentists will work with you to customize a treatment plan that will leave you with an attractive smile you’ll be proud to show off.

My silver fillings are old and unattractive, and feel sensitive in my mouth. How can you help?

When old silver fillings start to leak, not only do they look unappealing but they can let in decay and potentially leave you with sensitivity. Our office offers natural-looking composite or tooth-colored fillings and porcelain inlays and onlays to replace worn silver fillings.

What are Invisalign aligners?

When it comes to invisible orthodontics, the Invisalign clear aligner system straightens teeth discreetly. The thin plastic trays are worn over the teeth for about two weeks and then switched out for the next set in the series. You can expect to wear the aligners for six months to a year, but since they are clear, few people will even notice that you’re wearing them. This is good news if you want to create a beautiful smile without the inconvenience of traditional braces.

How much does an implant cost?

The cost of dental implants varies depending on the extent of your treatment.

OK, so what factors increase or decrease the cost?

To get a more accurate assessment of the cost of dental implants for your needs, we recommend seeing our dentists for a free consultation. The cost of dental implants factor in:

  • The number of tooth replacements being done (a single tooth or multiple teeth)
  • The expense of the lab work
  • How much reconstruction will be needed for a successful outcome
  • The location of the tooth being replaced
  • Our potential collaboration with other dental specialists
